The effects of health and wellness go far beyond our bodies. Overall wellness includes an encompassing balance of physical, social, emotional, environmental, intellectual, and occupational wellbeing.  Health is the goal and wellness is the active process of achieving it. Wellness has a direct influence on overall health, which is essential for living a robust, happy, and fulfilled life.

Wellness stems from many places – including emotional and environmental. Wyld believes that human rights reflect the rights of all humans regardless of race, sexuality, gender, faith, outward presentation or origin. Wyld celebrates the courage, strength, and resilience within the LGBTQIA+ community, and welcomes all - no matter who you are or where you’re at.

A few impactful organizations doing the work include:

Mudbone Grown

Mudbone Grown is a black-owned farm enterprise that promotes inter-generational, community-based farming that creates measurable and sustainable environmental, social, cultural, and economic impacts in communities.

Mudbone Grown's work helps to develop and implement workplace-based educational experiences that help teens, young adults, and low-income communities develop marketable careers and education skills -- skills that help build and sustain community capacity, as well as place them in local jobs. This partnership allows us the honor of partnering in our five-year goal to enhance food security, reduce energy use, improve community health and well-being, and stabilize our communities.

Three Square is Southern Nevada’s only food bank and largest hunger relief organization, serving Las Vegas and all of Clark, Lincoln, Esmeralda and Nye counties. Since opening in 2007, Three Square has provided more than 444 million pounds of food to hundreds of thousands of people in need and earned a reputation as one of the most efficient and effective food banks in the country.

In support of their disruptive mission, Wyld joined their 2021 Holiday Match Challenge and donated over 20,000 meals to be distributed across Las Vegas communities this holiday season!
