As a part of our commitment to leaving our communities better than we found them, Wyld Brands believes deeply in supporting the efforts surrounding social and racial justice. Social justice is the view that “everyone deserves equal economic, political and social rights and opportunities,” including historically marginalized communities who have been subjected to racial injustice and their experiences of human rights violations due to systemic racism. We aim to help open the doors of access and opportunity for everyone, particularly those in greatest need through community partnerships.

Equality Federation 

The Equality Federation is an advocacy accelerator rooted in social justice, a movement builder, and strategic partner to state-based organizations advocating for LGBTQ people. From Equality Florida and Freedom Oklahoma to Basic Rights Oregon, they aim to amplify the power of the state-based LGBTQ movement. 

 The Equality Federation works collaboratively on critical issues—from advancing workplace fairness and family recognition to defeating anti-transgender bills and HIV criminalization laws—that affect how LGBTQ+ people experience the world from cradle to grave.

Urban League of Portland 

Urban League of Portland is one of Oregon’s oldest civil rights and social service organizations, empowering African Americans and others to achieve equality in education, employment, health, economic security and quality of life. 

 Wyld plans on continuing our Social and Racial Justice and Health and Wellness efforts with the Urban League, with the overall goal of reducing the inequalities of systemic racism and shedding light on opportunities for the community to join in.

Pride Northwest 

Pride Northwest is a community-based nonprofit organization with a mission to encourage and celebrate the positive diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans communities, and to assist in the education of all people through the development of activities that showcase the history, accomplishments, and talents of these bold communities. 

Pride Northwest supports its community by bringing an awareness and rich history of LGBT people. Pride NW also acts as a support system to smaller organizations working to build the capacity of other like-minded organizations.
